Sports stadiums provide the foundation from which a city can build a sporting legacy, creating thousands of jobs and contributing millions to the local and national economy. However, as progressive cities focus on approaches geared towards the liveability, inclusivity and flexibility of the city, sports stadiums have increasingly become disconnected and out of touch.
This event, hosted at Ryder Architecture, will bring together leading thinkers working on future facing stadiums to hear about how sports stadiums can be developed as integrated and connected placemaking anchors which activate life and vibrancy all year round.
Following the event we will be showing the England vs Slovenia game, we encourage everyone to stay on and watch the game with us. We will be providing food and drink.
